Seventeen T-FOOD products are halal certified by the Taiwan Halal Integrity Development Association (THIDA), confirming that they comply with halal requirements under Islamic law. THIDA is recognized by JAKIM (Malaysia), BPJPH (Indonesia), and the World Halal Food Council (WHFC). The current certificate is valid until March 29, 2028.
As stated on the certificate, 17 products are certified, with the full item list in the certificate attachment:
If your market or customers require halal certification, tell us which items you plan to source and we will confirm whether they are covered.
Halal refers to products that are permissible for Muslims to consume under Islamic law. A halal certification body reviews the ingredients and production processes behind each product and issues a certificate once they meet halal requirements. Our certificate is issued by THIDA and co-signed by the Imam of Taipei Cultural Mosque. Because THIDA is recognized by JAKIM and BPJPH, the certificate is a useful reference for buyers exporting to markets with large Muslim populations, such as Malaysia and Indonesia.
Halal certification confirms compliance with Islamic dietary law. Food safety is covered by our HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 certifications. The same facility is also kosher certified, so we can support markets with different religious dietary requirements.
You can confirm the certificate's status and covered items with THIDA (www.thida.org) using certificate number CP83901070326. For a full checklist of what to look for on any supplier's certificate, see our guide on how to verify a supplier's food safety certification.
