What FSSC 22000 Version 6 Covers

FSSC 22000 goes further than HACCP on its own. It combines three layers: ISO 22000:2018 for the overall food safety management system, ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 for prerequisite programs in food manufacturing such as facility layout, cleaning, and pest control, and additional scheme requirements that include food defense, food fraud mitigation, allergen management, environmental monitoring, and food safety culture. Because the scheme is GFSI-recognized, many international retailers and food service chains accept it when approving suppliers.

  • GFSI-recognized certification: FSSC 22000 meets the supplier requirements many international retail and food service buyers use when approving ingredient suppliers.
  • Audited without notice: At least one surveillance audit in every three-year cycle is unannounced, so the system is checked as it actually runs, not as it looks on audit day.
  • Independently verifiable: The certificate is listed in the public FSSC 22000 database, so you can confirm its status without relying on our word.
  • Maintained since 2022: Certified continuously since January 2022, with the certificate now on Issue 4.
